Happy Birthday to TRAPATES!!!!!

10/7/23: Happy Birthday to me and happy

birthday to TRAPATES! I wanted to celebrate my 26th

birthday by finally doing the NIKE. "Just start" and

"Just do it" are phrases that have been haunting me for

a while. Ive had this fantasy of starting a blog and a

brand since high school and here's my attempt. Im

winging it. This is purely spontaneous and

experimental.

Moving to a smaller city, my foodie era was put on

hold but it's slowly starting to bud again. My family

looked at me crazy when I said I wanted to celebrate

my birthday by going to Waffle House. (Im sorry but I'm

not bougie like them) I mean its my very own humble

hibachi. Watching the cooks slay my hash-browns

smothered and covered and buttery , sweet waffle with

no syrup needed will never get old for me. I also got to

go to one of my new favorite spots, a quaint little cow

themed cafe in downtown New Bern. They have the

most tantalizing sandwiches and homemade ice cream.

The Cuban sandwich is my new obsession, with the

sauce dripping off the side of your mouth after every

munch. Choosing an ice cream flavor there is like

choosing a font. It was strawberry-mango vs birthday

cake this time and I chose the fruitier vibe.

I can say my birthday this year was the polar opposite to last year. Thats truly a blessing! APTTMH !! I would've worn the outfit above if I went to Cheesecake.
